Introducing LOU.

They may not look like much, but these insoles will forever change the way you walk, run and move.

Designed by a podiatrist and engineered by a rocket scientist, LOU insoles are the ONLY product on the market that create conditions for natural movement.

So your feet can function the way they’re designed to - optimally and powerfully.

We get it. You're frustrated.

You’ve tried every insole on the market.

You may have even tried new shoes that claim to "increase comfort without sacrificing performance.”

And nothing has worked.

Here's why.

Your feet contain more than 200 soft tissue structures, including muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves.

All of which are naturally and perfectly designed to maintain balance, support body weight, absorb shock, adapt to the ground beneath you, and release energy to propel you forward.

Without pain.

But most of today’s shoes and insoles do not allow the foot to function naturally.

They force your foot into unnatural positions.

And dictate how your feet move.

“Preventing pain” is causing you pain.

Over-engineered insoles and generic, under-engineered insoles (sold in both shoes and aftermarket) disrupt the feet’s natural biomechanics.

While these products are marketed to “correct” or “prevent” pain, they oftentimes create more stress and cause problems worse than the original issue. Click HERE to compare LOU insoles vs. others.

You deserve better.

LOU insoles don’t force your feet into unnatural positions or dictate movement.

Using two exclusive technologies - Insolia® Flex technology and Insolia® Heel-cupping technology, LOU insoles gently guide the feet through the natural sequence of motion without restriction, pain or discomfort.

Support through the entire step.

Most insoles focus on just one or two parts of gait cycle. LOU insoles support the feet through every motion - helping you move more naturally and comfortably with every step.

Motion 1: Heel strike.

With each step, the lateral (outer) side of the heel makes contact with the ground.

LOU insoles' Insolia® Heel-cupping technology features an anatomically-correct contour that matches the irregular shape of the heel bone and positions the heel so that it is vertically aligned for improved stability and increased comfort.

Motion 2: Shock absorption.

When the heel strikes the ground, soft tissue play a critical role in absorbing impact - up to 110% of body weight during walking and as much as 200% during running - and spreading the force across the foot shifting weight from the outside of the heel toward the inside.

LOU Insoles have an asymmetric forward edge that supports the plantar fascia and surrounding soft tissue and helps dissipate force without pain.

Motion 3: Arch lift.

As the soft tissue stabilizes the impact, the big toe joint drops extending the toe upward. This joint drop pulls the plantar fascia and other soft tissue in the mid foot tight, which lifts the arch (like a spring being loaded) in preparation for propulsion.

LOU insoles' Insolia® Flex technology features a depression allowing the big toe joint to fully drop, the toe to fully flex upward and the arch to fully lift with little to no pressure on the heel.

LOU insoles also act as a centering device as the arch is lifted ensuring proper alignment without compromising its full range of natural dynamic motion.

Motion 4: Heel off.

The heel then lifts and the entire foot becomes a rigid lever, pivoting around the ball of the foot. The arch recoils, releasing stored energy and directing force through the forefoot beginning with the little toes to propel the body forward efficiently.

LOU Insoles allow the heel to fully lift at the precise time, reducing discomfort associated with aggravated plantar fascia and heel growth plates.

Motion 5: Big toe springboard.

The big toe is the final point of contact with the ground before lift-off. It acts as a springboard or fulcrum that transmits energy into the ground to propel the body forward.

LOU Insoles allow full toe flexion to maximize push-off force.

Natural movement is noticeably superior.

When compared to standard insoles in athletic shoes, LOU insoles:

:: Reduce oxygen demand by 9.1%
:: Reduce heart rate by 5.5%
:: Reduce number of steps required by 1.9%
:: Improve overall comfort by 19.2%
:: Improve forefoot comfort by 27.3%
